To get help with BJC bills
To apply for help paying BJC bills, call 314-362-8400 or 855-362-8400, or click here to apply online.
You can apply before, during, or after you get care. You have 240 days after getting your first bill to apply for BJC help.
You will need to provide proof of your income when you apply.
If you are approved to get help paying your bills, it will last for 1 year from the day you are approved. You will not have to apply again until the next year.

You must live in Missouri or Illinois.

You can only get help for emergency care and needed care.
If you do not have health insurance, you will always get a 40% discount off your bills. You can still apply for more help.
Even if you do have health insurance, you might still be able to get some help.

If you need help paying a bill from a Washington University physician, call 314-273-0645.
Have the bill in front of you when you call.
They can help you get on an interest-free payment or apply for financial help to lower the costs of your bill.
Financial help from Siteman Cancer Center
You can talk to a social worker at Siteman Cancer Center who may be able to help you with other costs that can come up during cancer treatment.
